The
climate in Lesotho is influenced by the relatively high average altitude, summer
days are generally warm but the temperature does drop quite quickly in the
evenings particularly in the eastern highlands. Down sleeping bags are essential
as are a windbreaker or warm overcoat, rain wear and both a sun hat and a woolen
hat. Hiking boots or similar type footwear is most appropriate.
